I don't think they update the expiration dates for their forms that often. Then I recently downloaded a new one and it says: On the top right corner of the Form DS-230 part 1 that I have, it says: There doesn't appear to be any way to do that. Which is fine, as long as we could start it over again or something. I think the problem is she started filling it out, but once you start apparently it expires soon. It has only been in the last month that we even paid the fees and everything, so I can't imagine that the entire case is expired. This is what it says in the top right corner when filling out the Online Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration Application (DS-260): Maybe others on this forum can give you a more certain answer and URL. That way you can ask them directly how long specifically you have and not just assume doom and gloom because of a date on the form.įor China we had 1 year to submit the form DS-230 and OF-169. What I would do if I were you is get the case number then find out the URL of the web page where you can submit a question with your case number. My opinion is it is the expiration date they have set for your case that matters. Not sure if the expiration date on the form matters.
